ASICS is proud to be the official partner of one of the world's illustrious running events: the Paris Marathon.
One of the major marathon events in Europe, the Paris Marathon is equally famous for its fast times and the beauty of its course. Starting on the Champs-Élysées, some 37.000 runners make their way through the center of Paris, passing such world-famous landmarks as the Louvre, the Pont Neuf and of course the Eiffel Tower.
Paris in Springtime
The flatness of its course and mild spring weather make Paris a preferred event for setting PBs. Of course, having as many as 250.000 spectators lining the course and cheering the runners on doesn't hurt either! At the same time, this is France, where 'joie de vivre' extends to sports as well and – uniquely – you may find a real oyster bar among the many drink stations.
To get a taste of the Paris Marathon's unique atmosphere, take a look at the ASICS coverage of the 2009 edition (including video).
Marathon Expo
The event hosts an extensive Marathon Expo, where ASICS will of course be present as well. The Marathon Expo will be held in Hall 4 of the Parc des Expositions at the Porte de Versailles. Entrance is free and open to all.

All participants of the Paris Marathon recieve a well deserved medal
