The new GEL-NIMBUS 13 is the lightest version of the shoe ever, yet provides the most comfortable and cushioned ride for both neutral and under-pronators. The GEL-NIMBUS 13 features a new Guidance Line which encourages the foot to follow the most efficient line of progression, while its Asymmetrical Lacing Design and Personal Heel fit all work to ensure a glove-like fit. The strategically placed stretch material of the Biomorphic Fit Upper - on the upper helps to reduce buckling and the potential for irritation. An improved heel fitting environment and support is given by the exoskeletal heel counter.

Solyte Midsole Material

Spongy layer between the sole and upper designed to absorb shock and cushion the foot. Solyte is a lighter material than SpEVA and EVA and features enhanced durability.

Space Trusstic System

Plastic bridge under the arch creating a pocket between it and the midsole which improves flexibility and gives the shoe strength and stability.

3M Reflectivity

Guidance Line

Guidance Line places a visible groove in the mid and outsole that follows the foot's center of pressure from heel to toe. The result is a more adaptive running platform, creating a smoother transition from heel strike to toe-off with each stride. The Guidance Line thus helps runners to maintain a natural, efficient gait, especially over long distances.

DuraSponge

DuraSponge is a blown AHAR compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot. ASICS High Abrasion Resistance Rubber (AHAR) is a tough compound used at the heavy contact area of the outsole.
