id say the hole caused could be due to the size of the shoe ,, caue i have worn asics and have this model and have had no problems ever

o my god cant believe your comment conor i have exactly ta same prob..i really dont understand it..i actually thought that maybe they were too big for me but as far as im concered they fit fine..they are too expensive of a runner for that to be happening..i only had mine a few months i really dont think its good enough..i have to say i've had no injury with them and thats ta only reason i keep wearing them but they look ridiclous..

i bought a pair of these runners in june this year to train for the marathon and by september there was a hole in each runner where the big toe sits. has anyone else had this problem
