Britain’s Helen Jenkins (neé Tucker) was crowned World Triathlon Champion in 2008. Entering the event at the last minute as a means of boosting her chances of making the British team for the Olympic Games in Beijing, Helen promptly won, edging out the fierce competition present in elite triathlon.

Mars Refuel and a big pizza.
What is your favourite memory from competition?
Qualifying for the Olympic games in Madrid, knowing all the hard work paid off and having my sister and husband on the finish line.
